Highly Secure & Aircraft Ready

The PlaneSight is highly secure. All reports are encrypted with a private key before transmission to ensure that even satellite signal eavesdropping is ineffective. Point to point communications ensures that no data is transmitted over the internet or other insecure network. PlaneSight is aircraft ready with no moving parts to be affected by G Forces. It uses special solid state memory that endures extreme temperature and humidity conditions and is made from specially treated system components that endure 0-70C conditions.

Messaging Capabilities

The PlaneSight can send pre-programmed text messages or allow the user to send typed messages with the on-screen keyboard and user interface. All messages include precise location information from where the message originated.

Fast and Efficient Reporting

Position reports are transmitted in under one second and images are transmitted every two to three seconds. Images are available immediately at the base station, which can request images from any airborne unit.

Encryption

"NIST is pleased to announce the approval of the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) for the Advanced Encryption Standard, FIPS-197. This standard specifies Rijndael as a FIPS-approved symmetric encryption algorithm that may be used by U.S. Government organizations (and others) to protect sensitive information".

Connection Process

Steps

1. Surveillance
   Aircraft equipped with the Planesight system travel flight paths for surveillance purposes.
2. Aircraft w/ camera
   Live video and gps reports are gathered by a high resolution camera mounted on the nose of the aircraft. This data is then encrypted with a US military approved encryption algorithm.
3. Satellite Network
   The Planesight client sends the encrypted data to any point on earth over a secure encrypted satellite channel.
4. Server Station
   The data is received by the server station where it can be monitored and stored.
